Many people don’t know that while diamonds are the hardest substance on earth, they can sometimes chip or break.  If you have a chipped diamond we can repair (polish) or re-cut your diamond depending on the severity of the damage.  Often times your insurance company will pay for the repair, depending on your coverage.  A diamond that is left with a chipped girdle edge can be more susceptible to further damage, so it is best not to wait until a small chip turns into a larger one.  We will measure your diamond and give you the color, clarity, and pre-repair weight before we do the polishing; and estimate the finished or re-cut weight to give you an idea of the finished diamond.  Note: this service is not done in-house.
